Girl Scouts

For more than 40 years, the Girl Scout Troop House at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc has offered girls a safe space to hold meetings and activities. A grant from the Oconomowoc Area Foundation will help support a much-needed upgrade to the troop house kitchen. GSWISE Troop 2257 of Oconomowoc were invited to the 2022 OAF Grants Celebration to talk to guests about the project and also were honored Color Guard for the program. In 2025, the Oconomowoc Area Foundation awarded more than $341,000 in grants to 45 local nonprofits impacting

the greater Oconomowoc community.

The Oconomowoc Area Foundation is committed to cultivating a healthy, vibrant, and caring community by granting opportunities to local nonprofit organizations focused on causes you are most passionate about.

Each year, the foundation awards grants focused on priorities for improving the greater Oconomowoc area, including caring for children, families, and the elderly, developing youth, helping those in need, preserving the environment, and enriching the community through the arts and cultural programming.
